What You’ll Do:
- Supervise fiber and chemical lab operations, ensuring timely and accurate product/process analyses.
- Lead and train lab shift teams, promoting a strong safety and quality culture.
- Perform and oversee routine testing (fiber, chemical, wastewater) using advanced techniques (GC, HPLC, IC, UV/IR).
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper documentation.
- Support production and quality teams with data for process improvement and customer complaint investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold standards and drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education in Chemistry, Physics, or related fields (High school diploma minimum).
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial lab environment.
- Strong knowledge of lab equipment and testing methods.
- Proactive, independent, and team-oriented work style.
- Good communication skills and ability to work under shift-related stress.
- Experience in safety and quality culture initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; organized in managing records.
