For the area of Global Fiber Technology located in one of Lenzing's viscose production sites (Nanjing, China; Purwakarta, Indonesia; or Lenzing, Upper Austria) we invite experts to submit applications for the role of
Global Viscose Technologist (m/f/d)

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:
- You will lead technical feasibility studies and pre-basic engineering activities, and contribute to the creation of specifications
- You will conduct technology comparisons between Lenzing’s viscose production sites in collaboration with local experts
- You will provide support and definition of operating parameters; identify best practices; and define standards for process engineering processes
- You will analyze organizational, technical and process-related problems, and develop solution-oriented improvement methods
- You will focus on increasing the quality and efficiency of the respective viscose production areas
- You will provide local support for the viscose production sites, and conduct on-site training to improve processes and workflows
Your ideal profile
- You hold a technical degree with a focus on Chemistry or Process Engineering; or you have 10+ years of production experience in the viscose process
- You have a strong interest in process optimization and technology development
- You are experienced in project management
- Ideally, you have experience in technologies relevant to the viscose process
- You are experienced in intercultural cooperation
- You are fluent in English and you have very good communication skills

The gross salary for this position according to the collective agreement in the chemical industry is € 60.000,- to 74.000,- with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
